WBO Press Release
Oct 28 2024

The Brazil Unfiltered podcast, produced by the Washington Brazil Office (WBO), will air on November 6, from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (Brasília time), with a live broadcast made in partnership with CartaCapital magazine about the 2024 American elections.

In this special edition, host James N. Green will be accompanied by three other special guests: André Pagliarini, professor of History and International Studies at Louisiana State University and editorialist for the WBO weekly bulletin; Vânia Penha-Lopes, professor of Sociology at Bloomfield College of Montclair State University and associate researcher with the WBO; and Thais Reis Oliveira, executive editor of CartaCapital.

The WBO podcast is traditionally broadcast in English, but this special edition will be in Portuguese, so that a larger portion of the Brazilian public can follow the developments of the election and the projections about the future of relations between the United States and Brazil from a point of view linked to the interests of organizations and social movements in both countries.
